The IMSE Loyalty TerminalThe Interactive Multimedia Sales Event (IMSE) terminal was designed and created by Technocash to provide customers with secure financial solutions combined with the latest interactive and entertaining experience. As all development has been in-house, Technocash is continually striving to improve its systems and technology and is totally flexible to customer needs. The IMSE has been ergonomically designed to be original, innovative and appealing; this has been achieved not only through its technology but also through its initial size, shape and colour. These intentional design features attract customer attention, are user friendly, and enhance the value of marketing and promotional activities. Upon seeing the green and gold IMSE, which is readily identifiable on or near the counter, cardholders can instantly identify that the store or other outlet offers BillFold and CashBack facilities. The unique look of the terminal also promotes non-cardholders to enquire about its purpose and thereby stimulates interest in participation. The IMSE incorporates a mobile telephone connection and simply requires plugging into a power point to be fully active; there are no data cables or telephone line connections. It is simple to use with just a few buttons – the aim of Technocash is to keep the experience as straightforward as possible – but the buttons offer a multitude of options and possible uses. The four ‘soft’ keys are located under the screen and are linked to the uses displayed on the screen above each button. These display the services available to a customer such as CashBack, Card Registration, Cash In, or Purchase. This is achieved because every IMSE is linked to the Technocash head office system and thereby remotely monitored and accessible. In effect, any IMSE at any location can be remotely configured by Technocash to display the soft keys, text, and information required by each customer. The IMSE WIN button is a powerful marketing tool and designed by the Company to provide a host of simple but very useful marketing and promotional activities. Current options include:
These options can be adapted, intertwined, and personalized at any time to meet individual needs. Competitions can be tailored to allow single or multiple entries or even an entry associated with an action such as buying goods from a specific store. Awards can be in prizes, cash, or other goods and can be ‘instant win’ or entry into a major draw. The process is very simple; the cardholder presses the WIN button on the IMSE, inserts the BillFold card, and gets an immediate message on the IMSE screen. Surveys provide market research and promotional opportunities as well as access to a large audience and are run through the WIN button feature. A message appears on the screen, the customer uses the soft keys to answer yes or no, then questions appear on the screen. The first survey provides numbered choices and subsequent surveys have differing questions depending on the choice from the previous question. An award can be given for completing the survey. The jokes/quotations/trivia feature is designed to encourage cardholders to enter a store to see what the WIN button is offering; the result is increased traffic and loyalty for CashBack retailers and influences customer habits on preferred stores. The promotional feature is used for new products or new locations. The WIN button can be set up to show educational and training text on screen for general training on Technocash features or indeed specific features of a CashBack outlet. CashBack Transactions
