Funding Your Technocash Account

If you are familar with loading money to your Technocash Account, click here to go straight to the bank details page. Otherwise, please read the options below. You can load money to your account in any of the following ways:

  • Wire Transfers
  • Internet Banking
  • Scan a barcode printout at Australia Post
  • At a bank branch

Wire Transfers
World Wide Unlimited Amounts

  • Wire funds to any Technocash bank account with the deposit reference .

    Example: Send USD funds to any of our USD accounts and the Technocash Account holder will then have USD funds.

  • Please allow for bank clearance times. Fastest deposits are via BNZ.

    Hint: Wire transfers have large reference fields so deposits can have extra information - e.g. invoice number, membership reference.

  • It is essential to include the Technocash Account deposit reference details in the transfer:

  • Use the last ten digits of the receiving Technocash Account number (i.e. Ignore the '627627' at the start of the account number)
    Or alternatively:
  • You may have a six character deposit reference linked to a Technocash Account. (i.e. Ignore the '*246')

    Hint: For large deposits please forward Technocash by fax +61296871911 the banks reciept to assist prompt funds allocation.

Internet Banking + at a Bank Branch

  • Log on to your Internet banking service, quoting the correct Technocash bank account details. Transfer any amount of funds to cover your needs and allow for the $2 admin fee.
    OR:
    Walk into any bank branch and deposit funds over the counter, allowing for the $2 admin fee.
  • Your deposit arrives next business day and appears in your account ready to use. Please allow for bank clearance times. Typically you should see funds arrive by 10AM next business day if you used Internet banking before appropriate cut-off times (see your bank's terms and conditions).

    Hint: Ideal for Australia and New Zealand. For large amounts use a local wire transfer.

  • Don't forget the Internet banking transfer must include:

  • The last ten digits of the receiving Technocash account number
    (i.e. Ignore the '627627' at the start of the BillFold number)
    Or alternatively:
  • You may have a six character deposit reference linked to a Technocash Account. (i.e. Ignore the '*246')

    Hint: The bank's reference field is often small, so start with the receiving deposit reference and then add any other information.

Australia Post loading

  • Your Technocash account is provided with Barcodes ready to scan at your nearest giro Post location in Australia.
  • ASK the operator to scan the barcode and tell them how much you wish to deposit. Each scan allows you to load between $20-$2000 in one go! Use Cash or EFTPOS. Multiple scans are allowed. A $2 administration fee is payable regardless of the amount loaded.
  • Please allow for processing times as funds become available by 8pm EST that same business day. Please make your payment before 5:30 EST to ensure same business day processing. (Saturdays are treated as deposits for Monday.)
  • Others can deposit to your account as you can login and print off many additional barcodes. Email barcodes to others and you can have everyone send you funds.

    Hint: You're organizing a group booking and want payments from everyone - email them all a barcode.

    Hint: Don't have your barcoded card handy? - log in and print a barcode to use.
